James McCartney

Did you hear about this? James McCartney (son of Paul) is talking about creating The Beatles 2: The Next Generation. Okay, maybe he didn’t mean it in exactly that way. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

But if he’s really thinking of doing this (which let me clear out the vomit from throwing up in my mouth) — you certainly don’t talk about it! You just do it and you call it something else — like Honor Thy Fathers (although I’m sure there is a band already called that).

I think it was more a case of foot in mouth disease than anything else. Because from what I’ve read he seems like a nice but very shy guy and I’m all for the shy overcoming!

I did check out his website however and I found it very strange that there is no music to be heard on the site, or maybe the music player doesn’t work on my computer. But he really should have the full clips of all his songs streamable at the least!

If James McCartney’s management is so worried about having streamable versions of his songs on his site, then they’re in the wrong business. Because if someone is going to go to the effort of recording your streams then they ain’t going to buy your tune anyways.
