Leda published in Tin House!!

I’m so excited that my flash fiction piece Leda was published today on Tin House’s Open Bar for their Flash Fridays post. I mean, Tin freaking House.

[okay, total freak-out grammarphobe moment – is it “was published” or “is published”? Please don’t think less of me if I have it wrong, verb tenses kill me every time]

I wrote this piece because I was inspired by a passage in John Gardner’s The Art of Fiction. And the myth of Leda and the Swan has always horrified me.

I hope you will read it and tell me what you think.
