A brief brush with fame

So a week ago, we had dinner at this lovely little French restaurant Balon on the upper east side.

We were talking to our waitress / hostess and we told her we were musicians. I gave her our album Funeral Genius and she promptly put it on for the entire restaurant and bar to hear which was amazing and more than a little nerve-wracking. They played the album in its entirety! And people came over and told us how much they liked it and bought an album off of us. It was hilarious and really sweet of the hostess to play it.

We’re going back to the restaurant tonight to have a holiday dinner with Mark’s mom and sister and perhaps they’ll spin some of our tunes again. I wonder if Mark’s mom will recognize the tunes!

Hahaha!
